Macao

Director of Fast Offshore, Ron Mendelson has been in attendance at the Global Gaming Expo Asia 2019 (G28 Asia), held in Macao.

It took place at The Venetian hotel and casino in the heart of the city between May 21 and 23. Well known as a key gaming and entertainment business hub, Macao was a logical choice to hold such an event.

Bringing together industry professionals from across the Asian continent and beyond, the three day event was the perfect place to network, forge new connections, source new ideas, and gain exposure to new solutions. As well as this, those who attended were able to gain a much deeper ‘hands-on’ insight into the latest global industry trends.

In terms of delegates, the event attracts around 95% of Asian casino operators who attend to keep their finger on the pulse of cutting edge products and solutions in the industry.

This year’s event was dubbed “the most extensive expo ever” with around 200 exhibitors over an impressive 34,000 meters. It is estimated that more than 18,000 visitors from all over the world were in attendance- including operators, service providers, and legal and corporate professionals.

Josephine Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions who organised the event said:

“G2E Asia just keeps getting better and better. This year, we were proud and excited to introduce our new bi-level and ultra-diverse show floor to serve our biggest turn-out yet. This year’s expert-led conference program and networking offerings, combined with two new and innovative segments, expand and evolve alongside the industry they serve.”

The array of exhibitors on offer was diverse and far reaching with specific sections of the exhibition dedicated to slots, table games, tech and business solutions, security, game development, gaming platforms, sports betting, lottery, and of course, fintech.

As well as the vast exhibition space, attendees also enjoyed a number of keynote speeches from high-level industry leaders, influencers, and executives. Panels, workshops and debates on a number of topics from innovation to regulation, also took place over the three-day event.

Fast Offshore, who have over 21 years of experience in assisting iGaming businesses with their licensing and corporate needs, attended the G2E as delegates. Ron Mendelson who heads up the international corporate services and advisory firm stated: “G2E Asia was a great opportunity to meet and network with new contacts from all over the world. The Asian iGaming industry is growing at an exponential rate and it is exciting to see the level of innovation and enthusiasm coming out of stakeholders in the Asian sector.”

“Both in terms of growing our client base and meeting potential partners to enable Fast Offshore to expand and develop our service area, it was a thrilling and incredibly beneficial event to take part in. Can’t wait until next year,” he added.
